Children Displaced Across Borders

Lead: Dr Yvonne McDermott-Rees, Bangor Law SchoolChildren displaced across borders

This Collaboration and Partnership Grant is a co-produced project with NGO partners from Zambia and Thailand to establish crucial legal and professional change needed to embed children’s rights in practices concerning children who have been displaced by conflict, human trafficking, and other forms of forced migration.

The activity aims to achieve needed and transformative change to policy and legal practices to effectively embed children’s rights into current legal practices for displaced children in developing countries.

This project is funded under the RCUK’s Global Challenges Research Fund initiative, a £1.5 billion fund announced by the UK Government to support research and impact that addresses the challenges faced by developing countries.
